Chip & Joanna Gaines’s TV Network Is Launching Sooner Than We Thought

Chip and Joanna Gaines are brushing off the cobwebs and getting back in the swing of things.

The Fixer Upper stars have been planning their return to TV for some time—and that day appears to be closer than ever. Joanna, 41, announced on Instagram today that the TV network she and Chip, 45, have been hard at work on is launching sooner rather than later: in October 2020.

She shared the exciting news on Instagram with a photo slideshow of her and her husband of 16 years getting their on-camera bearings back.

In the first photo, she gesticulates while they sit in a very Gaines-esque open concept dining room. (Actually, it looks like the Gristmill that Jo slyly mentioned on Instagram when teasing that preparation for their new shows had begun.) In the next, Chip watches his wife as she speaks and in the last pic, they both laugh at some mistake Joanna seems to have made.

The mom of five captioned the slideshow, “A little rusty but we’re back at it again! Our network is launching October 2020 (which feels simultaneously so soon and yet so far away). Let the countdown begin!”

Although no concrete details about their forthcoming network have been released, a source familiar with the network told PureWow in October that Chip and Jo have “a few different potential projects and show concepts in the works, but things are definitely ramping up for the new network and their return to television.”

We. Can’t. Wait.
