Chip and Joanna Gaines may already have five (!) children together, but the 47-year-old dad has no plans of slowing down. At least, according to the couple’s latest interview with Today.
The duo sat down for an interview on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, where they discussed their life, family and Magnolia empire. In an exclusive clip from the special, the father of five made his future family plans pretty clear: He wants more kids.
During the clip, Chip gushed about his love for his wife, while Joanna told Willie that her hubby is, and always has been, her “coach.”
“Forget coach! I’m talking in a much more romantic sense,” he responded. “Like, I could see Crew having a little sibling and me being like, ‘I love this woman!'” Talk about a change of subject.
The 41-year-old went on to explain her husband’s adoration with children.
“When I’m 50, Chip’s gonna want more kids. Just know, this is gonna be the headline forever: Jo’s pregnant again,” she said. “Chip with children is like business—there’s never too many.”
The couple already has five other children—Crew, 1, Drake, 14, Ella Rose, 13, Duke, 11, and Emmie Kay, 9.
And while Joanna isn’t jumping at the idea of more kids quite yet, we definitely aren’t losing hope.
