Gordon Ramsay's Scallops Are So Delicious, They Made This Chef Cry

We've had good food, sure. Delicious food. Life-changing food, even. But we've never, ever, been brought to tears by a meal. 

But that's exactly what happened on a recent episode of Gordon Ramsay's show Hotel Hell. In it, Ramsay visits The Keating Hotel in San Diego in an attempt to whip its staff into shape. That includes trying to reignite Executive Chef Brian Rutherford's passion for food and cooking.

Ramsay prepares a scallop dish for Rutherford to taste, and that's when the waterworks start. As the San Diego chef takes his first bite of Ramsay's dish, he breaks down into tears. Safe to say Ramsay succeeded?
