Catherine Zeta-Jones has been sharing quite a few pics of her family on Instagram recently. First, it was her stepson, Cameron Douglas. Then, it was her newborn grandson, Ryder Douglas. And now, fans are lucky enough to get a rare glimpse of the actress's stunning mom, Patricia Fair.
In honor of Mother's Day, Zeta-Jones posted a trio of photos featuring her mom on Instagram. She wrote, "It’s Mothering Sunday in my Mother Country, and the mother of all mothers is mine, I love you Mam."
The Chicago actress continued, "And to my beautiful God Mother, Auntie Kay, I love you with all my heart."
The very first black-and-white pic shows Zeta-Jones and her mother standing side by side, and it's hard to miss their matching smiles. One fan wrote in the comments, "You are so alike. Almost like a carbon copy. You especially have her eyes." Another fan said, "Now we know from where you get your beauty from. Gorge!"
Fortunately, we can see even more of the stunning actress on Fox's procedural drama series, Prodigal Son. In case you missed it, Zeta-Jones joined season two of the show, where she plays Dr. Vivian Capshaw, a resident MD at the psychiatric institute.
When the news of her casting first got out, Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn said in a statement, "An extraordinary talent, Catherine Zeta-Jones is the perfect foil for the brilliant Michael Sheen. I can't wait to see these two greats go head-to-head in a season that is bound to raise the bar set by an outstanding season one."
Clearly, Zeta-Jones's mom did a stellar job of raising her lookalike daughter.
