Casper Just Upped the Sleep Game with Two Brand-New Hybrid Mattresses

casper hybrid mattress collection 728

As if we needed another excuse to catch some z’s on a Casper mattress, the company just upped the ante with a brand-new collection of hybrid mattresses. (Ooh.)

ICYMI, the original Casper mattress is a soft, all-foam sleeper that’s delivered conveniently to your doorstep in a box. After almost five years of development and a lot of customer feedback, this new line offers a little bit of both worlds when it comes to mattresses thanks to the addition of springs to the memory-foam construction.

First up is the Casper Hybrid, which has the same contour and support of the original, but with a little more bounce thanks to a base layer of springs. The springs have the added benefit of allowing a little more airflow, cooling you down while you snooze. It comes in six sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King; pricing begins at $850 for the Twin and goes up to $1,895 for the King.

The Wave Hybrid is Casper’s most high-tech option, with a blend of foam, springs and gel. According to the brand’s specs, it features a combination of soft foam, a spring base and gel “pods” for targeted support where you need it, all wrapped up in a “humidity-fighting, moisture-wicking wool cover.” (Is it just us or do you also feel suddenly sleepy?) The model also comes in six sizes, but with a slightly higher price tag, ranging from $1,545 to $3,495. They call it their coolest mattress (and we mean temps), so if you’re someone who sleeps with three fans in the dead of winter...it might be worth the cost.

If you’re like, can’t I just go to the department store?, know that the new mattresses come with the same 100-night risk-free trial and 10-year limited warranty as Casper’s original products. Plus there’s the whole order-online-never-leave-the-house thing.
