Only a week ago, as Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her historic 70th Accession Day, she shared a rare personal message with a major announcement. In her letter, the queen stated her desire that Camilla Parker Bowles be given the title of ‘Queen Consort’ when Prince Charles eventually ascends to the throne.
Following this major gesture, the Duchess of Cornwall was captured on an outing with her husband, where her stunning outfit was certainly befitting that of a future queen.
The royal couple attended a reception at the British Museum to celebrate the accomplishments of the British Asian Trust, a charity founded by Prince Charles in 2007 to support disadvantaged communities in South Asia. For the event, the prince opted for a black tuxedo, but it was the duchess's forest green ensemble that caught our eye.
