Camilla Parker Bowles Stuns in a Green Velvet Dress During Latest Outing with Prince Charles

Only a week ago, as Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her historic 70th Accession Day, she shared a rare personal message with a major announcement. In her letter, the queen stated her desire that Camilla Parker Bowles be given the title of ‘Queen Consort’ when Prince Charles eventually ascends to the throne.

Following this major gesture, the Duchess of Cornwall was captured on an outing with her husband, where her stunning outfit was certainly befitting that of a future queen.

The royal couple attended a reception at the British Museum to celebrate the accomplishments of the British Asian Trust, a charity founded by Prince Charles in 2007 to support disadvantaged communities in South Asia. For the event, the prince opted for a black tuxedo, but it was the duchess's forest green ensemble that caught our eye.

Parker Bowles was spotted in green velvet dress with gorgeous, paisley-like stitching across the fabric. The skirt of the dress included slits at the front and sides, which gave us a view of the lighter green pants she had layered underneath. Meanwhile, the outfit was rounded out with a matching emerald necklace and bracelet, as well as black heels.

According to the Daily Mail, the duchess's emerald parure jewelry set was a wedding gift from the royal family of Saudi Arabia, that she received during a trip in 2006. And while we're not sure who designed her dress, we are dying to find out.

Photos from the couple's outing were shared to their joint Clarence House Instagram account, where royal followers showed their love for Camilla's outfit. One user said, “Camilla looks so lovely in green!” Another added, “They both look terrific,” along with two heart-eyed emojis.

With so many fashionable members of the royal family, we're finding it hard to keep up!
