“The elegant simplicity of the ring’s design allows the gorgeous, show stopping center diamond to be the focal point,” she told PureWow.

After examining the center stone, the jewelry expert confirmed the gem is around 4.5 to 5 carats. “Nicola’s stunningly classic engagement ring features what appears to be an estimated 4.5 to 5 carat emerald cut diamond set on a delicate, platinum or white gold diamond accented band,” Money explained.

3. How Much Did It Cost?
Money estimated the engagement ring costs anywhere between $125,000 and $200,000. The varying price range depends “on the quality and specific characteristics of the center gemstone.”

Absolutely. As Money notes, the style is worn by several noteworthy celebrities. “Emerald cut engagement rings are increasing in popularity, and many celebrities including J.Lo, Jennifer Lawrence, Nikki Bella and Alex Guarnashelli have opted for this particular shape,” she said. “Elongated diamonds—including emeralds, elongated cushions and ovals—create a flattering look as their shape lengthens the wearer’s finger.”
