Brooke Shields's Lookalike Daughter Just Wore One of Her Mom's Red Carpet Dresses to Prom

Brooke Shields just sent her daughter, Rowan Francis Henchy, off to prom with a very personal touch.

The 56-year-old actress lent her eldest daughter a red, strapless gown that she donned for the Golden Globes back in the ’90s. And while Shields's 18-year-old looks gorgeous, we can't get over how much she looks like her mom.

Shields snapped some photos with Rowan for the festive evening and she shared them to Instagram, saying, “I thought it was a special night when I was nominated for a Golden Globe and wore this dress in 1998, but nothing could have prepared me to see my daughter wearing it to her prom ♥ proud mama!”

Shields wore the dress in 1998 when she received a Best Actress nomination for her role in the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan. She is seen wearing the gown in the last image of the slideshow, which is preceded by a shot of Rowan copying her mom's pose from the red carpet.

The mother-daughter moment was adored by people like Danielle Snyder, who said, “I love everything about this.” Ali Wentworth added, “You both are [fire],” using a fire emoji. Debra Messing even remembered the night that Shields wore the outfit, adding, “OH MY GOD that is so SPECIAL!!!!! I remember you in that gown that night! And now your beautiful daughter gets to make new memories with it.”

It has been an eventful year for Shields's daughter. Just last month, Rowan turned 18 and Shields commemorated the milestone with a series of rare throwback photos on her Instagram. The star also recently shared a throwback with Rowan and her other daughter, Grier Hammond Henchy, saying, “There’s nothing I love more than being your mom.”

Shields is taking hand-me-downs to a whole new level.
