New year, new hair? Looks like Blue Ivy Carter is changing up her look for 2020.
The soon-to-be 8-year-old daughter of superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z posed alongside her mom and rapper Megan Thee Stallion in snaps posted by the “Hot Girl Summer” singer on social media.
Both black-and-white pics appear to be from a New Year’s Eve party. For the occasion, Carter rocked a black sequined outfit and had her hair straightened just like her mom's. (Oh, and peep Beyoncé’s festive party hat.)
“Happy 2020 @beyonce,” Stallion captioned the post. The party comes just one week before Blue Ivy’s eighth birthday.
The 24-year-old rapper recently signed a management deal with Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation, which possibly explains why the Houston-native was hanging with the mother-daughter duo this holiday.

“I think the most stressful thing for me is balancing work and life. Making sure I am present for my kids—dropping Blue off at school, taking Rumi and Sir to their activities, making time for date nights with my husband, and being home in time to have dinner with my family—all while running a company can be challenging. Juggling all of those roles can be stressful, but I think that’s life for any working mom."
