Celebs posting snaps with their lookalike parents will never get old.
Last month, Blake Lively, 36, posted a candid photo with her mom, Elaine Lively, on her personal Instagram account. In it, Blake appears to be sporting a cozy cream sweater. Meanwhile, Elaine is rocking a white long-sleeved shirt with gold/silver necklaces hanging from her neck. And of course, it’s easy to see the family resemblance, particularly with the similar blonde locks.
In the caption, the Gossip Girl alum shared how the mother-daughter snapshot came to be, revealing it was to show off jewelry from Tiffany & Co. “I would like to replace the term ‘hoarder’ in favor of ‘maximalist.’ It makes me feel better. Wonder where I get it from…” Lively wrote.
Then The Age of Adaline actress recounted the entire conversation. “Me: Mom, come take a pic for Tiffany with me. Which necklace do you want to wear? Mom: All of them. Me: No. Pick your favorite Mom: ALL of them. Turn on The Makeup Light. The woman wins. Every time. #LockWithLove @tiffanyandco.”
Blake’s followers gushed over the lookalike duo in the comments section. One person wrote, “Like mother, like daughter,” while another chimed in and said, “This is so cute [pink heart emoji] I agree with your mom ‘all of them.’”
Some months have passed since The Shallows star posted a snap with her mom on social media. Earlier this year, the mother of four went on a family getaway with her hubby, Ryan Reynolds, 47, and both of their moms. The fourth photo featured in the slideshow shows Blake posing with Elaine. Meanwhile, Reynolds and his mom, Tamara Lee, are both smiling in the background.
