Just one week after Billy Joel announced that he and his wife, Alexis Roderick, were expecting their second child, the 68-year-old singer welcomed his newest “Uptown Girl” to the world.
Joel and his wife welcomed daughter Remy Anne on Sunday, October 22. Remy weighed in at seven pounds, three ounces.
The couple took to Joel’s official Instagram account to announce the exciting news and confirmed that both mom and baby are “doing well.” Joel and his oldest daughter, Alexa Ray (31), whose mother is the singer’s ex-wife Christie Brinkley, were at Roderick’s side when she gave birth.
Remy Anne is Joel’s second child with Roderick. The couple’s first daughter, Della Rose (2), was born in August 2015.
