Congratulations are in order for Anna Victoria and her husband, Luca Ferretti, who are expecting their first child together.
The fitness star and PureWow Coterie member, 31, just confirmed the news on Instagram and shared a slideshow of photos, featuring the soon-to-be parents posing with the sonogram pics.
She captioned the post, “My best kept secret… Baby Ferretti due August 2020!!! #pregnant #stillinshock #isthisreallife.”
Victoria has been extremely open on social media about her fertility struggles over the past few years. Shortly after the announcement, the expectant mom shared another photo on Instagram and explained the pregnancy was a result of IVF.
“First, Luca and I want to say a huge thank you for the outpouring of love and support from our announcement!! I know you guys have so many questions, so I’ll answer a few for you now,” she wrote. “Yes, we did IVF. We did the transfer back in November and didn’t tell anyone and to my complete shock, it worked!!! I was so prepared to get yet another negative test.”
Although they don’t know the gender, Victoria revealed the baby is already giving her a run for her money. “I’m 12 weeks 5 days today, and my due date is August 7th. And the first trimester has NOT been easy,” she added. “I’ve actually been on light bedrest this entire time, so I have not been working out with the exception of a few sessions when I was temporarily cleared, then put back on bedrest again. But I just got cleared again on Monday!!”
