Brooke (Emma Roberts) is alive and well in this brand-new trailer for next week’s episode of American Horror Story: 1984.
After last night’s installment aired on FX, the network released an action-packed promo for episode seven, titled “The Lady in White.”
The trailer picks up right where we left off in episode six, with Nurse Rita (Angelica Ross) kidnapping Brooke after her failed execution. Although they run into a few minor speed bumps—like getting pulled over by a policeman—one thing’s for sure: Brooke wants to return to Camp Redwood, despite Rita’s advice.
“You don’t have to go back to Redwood,” Rita says. To which Brooke responds, “One day in the sun doesn’t erase five years of darkness.”
Back at Camp Redwood, Montana (Billie Lourd) and Xavier (Cody Fern) are continuing their Bonnie and Clyde-like killing spree. But this time, they get their hands on Mr. Jingles (John Caroll Lynch), who didn’t fully consider his vengeance plan.
“You killed half of us here, remember?” Xavier says.
The end of the video teases the introduction of yet another villain. “Where do you psychos keep coming from?” Brooke asks.
The promo debuted shortly after last night’s episode, which featured a huge time jump. The majority of the installment took place in 1989 and introduced viewers to the aftermath of Camp Redwood. Although Brooke was sentenced to be executed, she woke up after the lethal injection only to find Nurse Rita standing over her.
So, will Brooke return to Camp Redwood to seek revenge? Or will she finally come to her senses? Guess we’ll have to wait until AHS: 1984 returns to FX next Wednesday, October 30, at 10 p.m.
