We’ve been coveting a glossy KitchenAid stand mixer for ages. (Maybe it wouldinspire us to beautify our countertops! Maybe it would inspire us to bake more often!)But with prices in the hundreds, pulling the trigger has been kinda hard to do.
Enter Aldi: The grocery-store power player just announced that it’s releasing a similarly silhouetted stand mixer in the U.S. for—wait for it—$60 (!?).
That’s right, The Kitchn reports that as of October 18, the Ambiano Classic stand mixer will be available at Aldi stores nationwide. Sound too good to be true? We’re glad to say that the reviews on Aldi U.K. (where the mixer has already been released) are overwhelmingly positive, noting it is easy to clean, simple to use and, above all, a really great bang for your buck.
FYI: As with many Aldi products, these guys will have a limited run in stores, and with that price tag, they’re gonna fly off the shelves fast. Mark your calendar accordingly.
