Adele’s Boyfriend, Rich Paul, Wants to Be an ‘Older Dad’

Could there be another child in Adele's future? A few months back, the “Easy on Me” crooner revealed her interest in having a second kid during a stop on The Graham Norton Show. While talking about the rescheduled dates for her Las Vegas residency, the 34-year-old singer said, “[The shows] are absolutely happening this year...I want a baby next year. I have plans next year. I have plans! Imagine if I had to cancel shows because I was having a baby.” Now, it appears that Adele's boyfriend (and maybe fiancé), Rich Paul, also has kids on the brain.

The 40-year-old sports agent is already a father to three, but during an interview with E! News, Paul opened up about the possibility of him and Adele having a child together. “As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough,” Paul said. “But now, looking as an older dad, if I was to have more kids, I'm looking forward to being a different dad.”

The sports agent also talked about how he would approach things different as an older father, saying he wants to be “a more patient dad.” He also added, “You know, I have a daughter that's a junior in college so I was a very young dad, but now—different age, different time in my life, different position in my life. I'm really looking forward to being an older dad.”

Meanwhile, Adele has a 9-year-old son (from her former marriage to Simon Konecki) named Angelo James, who was the focus of her latest album, 30. In her interview on The Graham Norton Show, the singer expressed her interest in more kids, while also recognizing she needed time to “recharge” after having Angelo.

“Like I said, I would like to maybe have more children,” Adele said, while jokingly adding, “I only just now feel like I've caught up on my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son, you know, so we'll see.”

Whether the couple decides to have a kid or not, we can't wait to see what's in store for them.
