First and foremost, the throw is made from a sumptuous polyester blend that feels like butter on the skin. Yet, the real selling point is that it's warm without being too warm for when your puffers go back into storage. The oversized, 70-inch length makes it great for year-round movie nights—and according to numerous reviewers, it's plush for cozying up in the winter yet light enough to use in warmer months: "I love these blankets—I have bought several over the years and I'm back again this season because everyone in the family loves to cuddle up with them. They are warm in the winter and light enough to use with the A/C in the summer," one happy shopper writes. They also add: "It washes really well!"

Indeed, it's not only great for all-season snuggles but the durability in the wash is what makes it stand out from the crowd. "Upon opening up the package, I saw a nice, plush, blanket. Immediately, I laundered it. I was curious how much lint it was going to lose. I was quite impressed that there was very little fuzz at all in the dryer’s lint trap. I neglected to get a paper tag off the blanket tag, and that was basically all that ended up in the dryer," another reviewer raves. They also add: "I’ve seen thick, plush blankets and this isn’t thick [per se], but it’s nice and heavy with plenty of plushness on both sides. The underside is lighter on the patterned side of the blanket, which is [a major plus]."

The best part (aside from the fact that it's more than 50 percent off right now)? It comes in seven colors that span from solid neutrals to holiday- and Paris-inspired prints.
