Don't know where to start? How about with the aforementioned Dutch oven that a former PureWow editor put to the test for a PureWow100 review. Scoring a 96 out of 100 for its off-white interior that makes it easy to gauge browning, it's clearly one of the *hottest* deals up for grabs at the moment. While the brand claims it's "ideal for everything from slow cooking and braising to roasting, baking, frying and more," PureWow Executive Editor Dara Katz loves using the smaller version to sear foods on the stove. She also enjoys putting the dish in the oven to get her recipes just right (yes, the enameled cast iron masterpiece is oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit). "The enamel also means you get the pros of cast iron without any of the tedious seasoning," she adds.

In other words, the 8-quart Dutch oven, available in a variety of spring colors (including a pretty powder pink, which just so happens to be on-trend for the new season), definitely deserves a spot in your kitchen cabinet. But that's not the only wish list item up for grabs.

Le Creuset

If you're shopping for a baker this Mother's Day (which is fast approaching, by the way), one reviewer says the brand's Heritage four-piece bakeware essentials set ($221; $175) makes a great gift. They also said the quality of the baking dishes' nonstick glazed interior is superb, not least of all for its heat retention, which keeps food warm for effortless serving.

Since the set comes with a 9-inch loaf pan, a 9-inch pie dish, a 3-quart square baking dish and a 1.7-quart oval baking dish, your giftee can tackle all sorts of recipes, from Mother's Day desserts to big batch dishes. So, the reviewer is right—it makes an awesome gift. But you also can't go wrong with the brand's Signature Petite Tasse set ($56; $40), which is perfect for serving mini appetizers, spring desserts and even espresso shots.

Suppose your pan is the only thing that needs an upgrade today. In that case, you should run to buy the Le Creuset Signature Round Braiser ($280; $165). Thanks to its ergonomically shaped handles, you can literally handle it like a pro. Plus, it has a wide base for searing, frying and steaming everything from meat and veggies to casseroles. And, guys, since it's not every day that you can score it—or any of these other Le Creuset staples—on sale, I'd get to shopping.
