When we first received and unpacked the mattress, we left it in the living room temporarily until our bedroom A/C was fixed. After jumping on it, we both immediately noticed the difference of a firm middle. The old mattress's saginess was something we hadn't realized was so drastic. That first night out on the living room floor with the FORM was an interesting one. The main concern: We were going to need to adjust our cuddle structures on a more firm mattress.
Once the bedroom air conditioning was operational again, and the bed was on our new bed frame, the hero came in for the win. We finally had the setup that we needed, with the dark, cool bedroom where we were used to sleeping. Of the nights where my partner had to slide into bed late, I only woke up once for a second to say hello, and then fell right back asleep. Our bodies had adjusted to the firmness, and the cuddle structures adjusted naturally.
As a cuddling couple, sweatiness is expected. In the old bed, I would often be rejected and denied cuddles (those same cuddles I wanted to add as a stipulation of marriage in the prenup I was never allowed) because of how hot and sweaty I got. This mattress has clearly helped us stay cooler and dryer. Our sheets are no longer absorbing puddles of sweat. Switching spoon sides is also much smoother with the firmness level, which I didn't expect. Another win for the hero mattress! My back aches less from getting stuck in a position that I never realized was a pain in my, well, back.
Overall, I'm no longer waking up before my alarm, and I'm finally able to sleep in on my weekends. This mattress saved my back, my sleep and very likely my marriage!
