Step 1: Slice the avocado in half, peel off the skin and remove the pit. Then brush the whole thing with lemon juice.
Step 2: Tightly wrap the avocado halves in plastic wrap, leaving no room for air. Place the wrapped avocado into a large freezer bag. Put it in the freezer for up to six months.
Step 3: When you’re ready to eat it, set the avocado on the counter until it thaws completely. It won’t taste exactly the same when it’s sliced, but whip it up into guac and you’ll never be able to tell the difference.
