During Milan Fashion Week, the Black-ish actress shared a post following the Ferragamo Ready-to-Wear Spring 2024 show. In her Instagram carousel, Ross modeled a look, courtesy of the host brand, which hadn't even hit the catwalk yet.
Tracee Ellis Ross Modeled a Two-Toned Ferragamo Look That Hadn’t Even Hit the Runway Yet
She's always ahead of the curve
“When you get to wear a look that the runway hasn’t even seen yet,” Ross wrote in her caption. “@ferragamo …the show was beyond!!!”
As you can see, the Girlfriends actress sported a billowy, long-sleeve gown with a turtleneck. The white fabric features an hourglass-shaped strip of green going down the front, as well as a teardrop-shaped cutout on the back of the neck. Ross completed the look with a pair of black stilettos.
The slideshow saw Ross showing off the dress and hanging out with her pal, Samira Nasr (AKA the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar), who rides in a car with Ross in one of the videos. In addition to Nasr, the High Note star also tagged the creative director of Ferragamo, Maximilian Davis, as well as her hairstylist, Eric Williams, and her makeup artist, Augusto Picerni.
At the show, Ross sat front row alongside other famous names, including model Lori Harvey, model and musician Soo Joo Park, as well as singers Shygirl and Kelela. While there, Ross got to see a few models debut other variations of her dress, in different colors.
While it was a fashion moment to remember, the never-before-seen look wasn't the only Ferragamo 'fit Ross wore during her time in Milan. Only a few days later, she posed in a black-and-yellow ensemble, which featured a broad-shouldered blazer, a mesh top and more.
“Ciao Milano,” Ross wrote in her caption. “Grazie @ferragamo.”
Your style game only gets better by the day, Tracee.
