Over the past few years, Quince has gone from under-the-radar to utterly ubiquitous—not just on the internet and social media, but also in my closet. The direct-to-consumer brand prides itself on offering high-end clothing (and jewelry, and bedding, and luggage, and furniture…) at way-below-retail prices. And as a card-carrying member of its rapidly expanding fan club, I can honestly say that the quality of Quince’s items far exceeds their price point. Even better, the brand offers plenty of petite-friendly pieces that I—and my fellow petite PureWow editors—can speak to.

While the brand doesn’t offer every article of clothing in varying lengths, a number of its jeans, pants and leggings are available in inseams as short as 26 inches. That said, it’s no surprise that our very own petite Editor-in-Chief Jillian Quint swears by one particular pair of $50 Quince denim (which we’ll get to in a moment). But if you’re a shortie who’s also wondering about some of the brand’s other offerings, from skirts to shorts to sweaters, which are available only in standard sizing, you’ve come to the right place.

After taking stock of the pieces in my own (5’1”) rotation, I polled three other short-gal staffers (and fans of the brand) on their favorite Quince purchases—in particular, ones that accommodate their height as much as their style. Ahead, find ten of our petite picks, complete with photos.

Where better to start than with the aforementioned jeans our “vertically challenged” (her words) EIC can’t get enough of? Quint (who’s 5’1”) owns this organic cotton-blend pair in the 26-inch length, which she says “fit like a glove.” As she shared in her review of them, “Among the things I like: the very slight stretch, which means they have give in the butt and thighs, but don’t sag in the knees; the straight ankle-length leg, which is a nice balance between an old-fashioned skinny jean and a more modern silhouette; the dark indigo wash, which makes them work and evening appropriate.” Although she notes that the denim is a little thinner than that of some pricier pants out there, she reports wearing them on repeat—and washing them—with no issue.

When I’m shopping for short-girl-friendly pieces, I don’t just want to avoid trips to the tailor—but to the dry cleaner as well. So when I learned that this slip skirt was made out of some magical, 100 percent machine-washable silk, I was sold. And let me tell you, I don’t regret this purchase one bit. As you can see in my photo above, the skirt does fall a bit longer on my 5’1” frame, hitting at my mid-calf. While midi skirts can be a notoriously challenging style for petites, I find that the skirt’s slinky, figure-skimming fit looks super flattering when styled with a shorter top, and its high elastic waist feels comfy and secure. But now for the question on everyone’s mind: Does it really hold up in the wash? After more than a year’s worth of wearing and washing, this baby is still as soft, smooth and shiny as the day I bought it. For real.

Shorties seeking to embrace the fisherman aesthetic without getting lost in a sea of chunky, oversize knitwear have met their match in this cropped cable sweater—which has earned a stamp of approval from Senior Editor Dana Dickey. A 5’3” member of the petite committee, Dickey says, “I appreciate the 20-inch body length of this cropped fisherman's sweater, which ties in nicely to the vintage J.Crew/fisherman-core vibe I'm working this summer. The versatility of this piece is unmatched; it's good with everything from cutoff jean shorts to an extra layer on a suit jacket. And the 100 percent cotton fabric is so cuddly—I reach for this first all spring and summer.” Aye, aye, captain!

There’s nothing worse than slipping into a sleek pair of leggings only to find them pooling at your ankles—there goes your cute workout look. But according to Associate Commerce Editor Natalie LaBarbera, who is 5’2”, you won’t have that problem with this moisture-wicking, nylon/spandex pick. “I really appreciate that they come in three different inseams (I chose the 25 inch) so they don't bunch up too much at my ankles,” she tells me. But that’s not the only reason LaBarbera loves ‘em: “These leggings are *so* soft that I've found myself reaching for them at least once a week since I got them. They do have a thin feel, which I love for low-impact workouts like Pilates.” It is worth noting that the thinner fabric offers less support for high-impact sweat sessions, and may show the outline of the waistband pocket in lighter hues. But considering the fact that reviewers compare them favorably to leggings that cost twice as much, I’d say they’re a worthwhile buy at just $40.

“Petite girls know that the wide leg can be tricky to pull off without getting into clown pant territory,” says Quint. “Not so with the Bellas, which are wide, but not too wide, cropped high enough to not graze the ground and have just enough stretch to hug your curves and prove you do have some shape under all the fabric.” That’s certainly an endorsement if I’ve ever heard one, so I just might have to give these cool cropped jeans a try myself this season. For the record, I love the retro look of those front patch pockets.

ICYMI, Bermuda shorts are cool again, but they’re another silhouette that can be difficult to purchase as a petite. Luckily, I own this Quince chino pair, and can attest to their length and look striking the perfect balance on shorter legs. The 10.5-inch inseam hits right at the knee on my frame, and they have a wide enough leg to give them that cool-girl look without tenting up. Not only are they very comfy and true to size, but the organic cotton material (featuring a touch of stretch) is nice and sturdy, with a mid-weight feel that holds its shape while remaining breathable.

Complete with figure-lengthening vertical ribbing, this organic cotton knit is another go-to of LaBarbera. "This is such a good staple sweater,” she raves. “It's relatively fitted for this style of sweater which makes it easy to pair with anything from jeans to shorts to skirts—but it's not so fitted that it feels uncomfortable or restricting. I also love that it's made with organic cotton so it's breathable but still has a weighty feel."

The perfect oversize button-down for petites doesn’t exist…or so I thought, until I picked up this 100 percent linen number. It’s just loose and long enough to wear comfortably as an open layer or buttoned closed over a pair of leggings (yes, it covers the booty), yet it doesn’t make it seem like I stole my 6’2” boyfriend’s shirt. The linen is crisp but very lightweight, so I can roll up the sleeves and don it on a warmer day—or even as a cover-up at the beach—without getting drenched in sweat. Speaking of the sleeves, while they’re a little longer on this shortie’s arms when uncuffed, cuffing them brings them right to the wrist (though I tend to prefer them bunched up the forearm).

If you prefer a shorter short, LaBarbera recommends this easy, pull-on pick—a total summertime staple. “These shorts are super lightweight, which I especially love in the hot LA summers, and the stretchy waistband keeps them feeling comfy even if I wear them for a full day out.” She adds that the length is flattering on her 5’2” figure, and is not too short, while the 100 percent linen fabric is super breezy. The fact that these come in a ton of colors is just a bonus.

While minis are usually a safe bet for us shorties, it can be hard to determine whether longer dresses will be a good fit. Lucky for us, Pam Masin, director of affiliate strategy, can speak to this gauzy tiered midi as someone who's 5'2". Not only does she confirm that it's a fitting frock for petites, she also notes that it's incredibly bump-friendly. "I wore this lightweight swing dress all throughout my pregnancy (from no bump to nine months) and I loved it at every stage! Usually this style dress overwhelms my petite, 5'2" frame, but this one has just the right amount of fabric so that it's roomy, but doesn't look like a garbage bag," she explains. "And the length hits slightly above the ankle so it's easy to pair with flat sandals and sneakers. I loved it so much, I bought it in another color for this summer!"
