The 2024 Oscars red carpet was star-studded and filled with dazzling fashion looks, from Barbie-inspired gowns (ahem, America Ferrera) to chic, regal ensembles. While we spotted an incredible variety of styles, we did notice the emergence of a sleek color trend that Wednesday Addams would approve of: opulent black.

Similar to last year's red carpet, quite a few celebs donned head-to-toe black, while others paired it with brighter hues like gold and white, to their sophisticated ensembles. From Danielle Brooks's glamorous Dolce & Gabbana number to Sandra Hüller's striking Schiaparelli gown, keep scrolling to see which Oscars guests stole the show in black.
