A style icon since her Lizzie McGuire days, Hilary Duff is pretty much the millennial patron saint of fashion. And now that she's made a major comeback with the release of her new single, “Mature,” I've been revisiting her looks—and looking into her favorite brands of late. Among them is denim label Moussy Vintage (aka her go-to for jeans). The NYC-based, Japanese-made brand has earned quite a cult following since 2016 for its high-quality, vintage-inspired denim and hand-crafted detailing, so it’s no wonder it has racked up a number of celebrity fans, from Duff to the likes of Meghan Markle, Kate Beckinsale, Kathy Hilton, Amanda Seyfried and Kristin Cavallari.

With a focus on blending traditionally masculine elements with feminine styles for a truly transcendent aesthetic, Moussy Vintage's catalog is packed with ready-to-wear items, all of which are made exclusively in Japan with the utmost attention to craftsmanship.

Take, for example, these Cordaville jeans ($370), with a low rise and straight cut that's similar to the style Markle has been spotted in (and is wearing in the photo above). Thanks to the high-quality cotton, the jeans mold to your body while giving you an ample amount of lift in all the right places.

Meanwhile, my girl Hil has been photographed in Odessa jeans, most similar to the Moussy Vintage Odessa low-rise straight leg jeans ($370), which are nearly sold out—proof positive of their popularity. There is, however, the option of the brand’sTioga belted jeans ($380), a similar wide-leg style that offers a structured look and feel (plus coordinating belt). Made from 100 percent cotton, these jeans are made with a generous amount of legroom (literally), and the rolled-up hem means you can wear them with just about any shoe choice.

Even Real Housewife (and Paris's mom) Kathy Hilton can’t stop raving about Moussy, telling Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper that its jeans give “a good shape to the leg.” Look no further than the brand’s Millis tapered jeans ($360) for the perfect example; they're laid-back and relaxed, but still skim your curves everywhere they're supposed to. As for Amanda Seyfried? She loves a straight-leg cuffed style, just like these Frederica Selvedge straight jeans ($380).

Well, sounds like we’ve got some shopping to do. After all, good jeans are hard to find, and once you come across a brand that nails ‘em every time, you can never have too many. That’s exactly why I’m taking a page from Duff (and the Duchess) and picking up my next pair from Moussy Vintage.
