Kerry Washington Stuns in Monochromatic Caramel Outfit (and We’re Getting Hints of Olivia Pope)

Kerry Washington, 46, seemed to be channeling her Scandal character Olivia Pope with one of her latest outfits, which she modeled across London for a series of photos on Instagram.

In the slideshow, Washington wears a monochromatic, caramel-colored 'fit from Michael Kors, which was put together by celebrity stylist duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

“London is Londoning,” the Little Fires Everywhere actress wrote in her caption, adding emojis of the Union Jack, an umbrella with rain drops and a red heart.

The eye-popping ensemble featured a turtleneck, trench coat, high-waisted skirt, knee-high boots, belt and handbag, all in a matching tan color. Needless to say, we were reminded of the chic ensembles that Washington wore for seven seasons on Scandal (however, the actress couldn't help but let her personal style shine through, as evidenced by touches like the two slits going up the skirt).

We weren't the only ones getting Olivia Pope vibes from this ensemble. Actor and director Corey Knott commented, “Alright Miss Pope.” Meanwhile, musician Kareen Guiock Thuram wrote, “Olivia Pope is popping!!! [heart eyes emoji].”

All of the pieces in Washington's ensemble were pulled from the Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2023 collection, and she accessorized the 'fit with jewelry from Rachel Katz and Melinda Maria.

While visiting the U.K., the Emmy Award-winning actress made sure to show off a number of stylish outfits. In a different post, Washington sported a two-piece Etro set, which was paired with midnight blue stiletto boots and a black leather jacket embroidered with flowers. “#thickerthanwater drip across the pond,” the caption read. (FYI: Washington was visiting London to promote her new memoir, titled Thicker than Water.)
