Many of us have been following Julia Engel—aka the influencer behind Gal Meets Glam—since her blogging debut in 2011. When she came out with her very own line of classic, feminine dresses (all under the Gal Meets Glam label) last April, we immediately clicked "add to cart" on just about all of them. Now, one year later, Engel is teaming up with Stitch Fix to deliver eight exclusive pieces that fit seamlessly into her original line. Oh, and she designed every single one of them. NBD.

PureWow was lucky enough to chat with Engel about all things Gal Meets Glam Collection, Stitch Fix and her love of dresses. Preview the collection and get a peek into the design process below. Fair warning: You're going to want everything.

"The[se] dresses are our take on Gal Meets Glam, but for the Stitch Fix customer. If you were to see it styled with the rest of our April collection, it would look like it was one in the same," Engel said about these exclusive designs.

Although the original collection only included dresses, Engel added jumpsuits into the mix shortly after. For the Stitch Fix range, she focused on similar silhouettes with a comfier approach. She explained, "We just really wanted to use comfort-minded fabrics as key elements for this line, because it's really important to the Stitch Fix customer." Think: soft drapey materials, like the one this jumpsuit is made of.

Celine One-shoulder Dress

This dress is just as comfy and drapey as the jumpsuit version. The feeling of the fabric was really important in creating this line, because, as Engel explained, many of the customers will be touching the fabric in person for the first time.

"Dresses are the very core of who I am as a person and I saw a gap in the market for beautiful, classic, feminine dresses at an approachable price point," Engel admitted. We have no doubt that the Sofie frock will be a customer favorite, thanks to the uber-feminine print, flowy silhouette and forgiving faux-wrap detail.

One of Julia's goals: To make shoppers think of Gal Meets Glam Collection whenever they're looking for a feminine, timeless dress, like this one.

One reason so many shoppers love jumpsuits: they're extremely quick and easy. And that's something that Julia relates to in her everyday life. She doesn't pick out her outfits the night before, instead, she lets her mood dictate her look each day. But when she needs to be ready at the drop of a hat, a jumpsuit or dress always looks put together, no matter her mood.

Although dresses are immediate outfits, Julia does rely on some styling tricks to make hers feel unique. "I may take the same dress I wore previously and add a silk scarf around my neck for a very classic, old-school vibe," Julia said. "Or I could add some really fun earrings and a bright sandal to make it feel more tropical."

Because Stitch Fix stylists create a box of five personalized items per month, customers don't know what's going to be inside (surprise!). But Julia sees her feminine pieces fitting into the wardrobes of those who wouldn't necessarily dub their style as such. She said, "We have some really classic core silhouettes in solid colors and incredible fabrics that look amazing on a wide range of sizes." Her dresses are available in sizes 00 to 20, so she's not kidding.
