Whether or not you binge watch Gilmore Girls several times a year (guilty) or have only seen a few episodes, you're likely familiar with the famous "Rory Gilmore sweater" that appeared in the pilot episode. It's a simple, ivory cable-knit sweater that looks so incredibly cozy, and has a totally timeless style—much like this one from Free People (was $98, now $65) that's more than $30 off during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Considering the way so many lovers of the show still search for sweaters with this look, I don't expect it will stay in stock long (especially in the ivory shade, which will match with practically everything, too). This versatile sweater is made from a cotton/acrylic blend and, in case the ivory isn't your vibe, it's also available in burgundy and camel shades on sale. The drop-shoulder design gives it a laid-back look that's perfect for pairing with your favorite jeans or comfy pants on the weekends. Plus, the cut is perfectly relaxed to up its coziness factor. Just take it from this Nordstrom reviewer who shared, "LOVE this sweater...Free People made the perfect drapey fit with loose arms—right in line with their usual oversized and modern fits! With reviews like that and an under-$70 price tag, this Ivy League-ready knit is practically guaranteed to go fast—especially with yet another academia autumn right around the corner. So personally, I'll be getting in my cart now to shop the second the sale's open for me, and you should probably do the same.
