Kamala Harris’s Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff’s Sparkling Coat Has the Entire Internet Talking
There’s a lot of things we could talk about regarding today’s monumental inauguration of the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden. And while fashion is always one of the things at the forefront of any kind of formal event, it was an ensemble worn by one attendee that has the internet talking.
No, we’re not talking about Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris or Dr. Jill Biden, although, we do love the unifying shades of purple (and the support of small, US-based brands) we're seeing this year), but Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of the VP.
Yup, just minutes after she and her brother, Cole Emhoff, stepped onto the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, people couldn’t help but take note of the 26-year-old’s unique Miu Miu coat. The strong-shouldered, plaid piece features a floppy, white-collar as well as sequined bedazzled flowers. She topped off the look with a sleek, blank headband.
Her unique and chic style is not necessarily surprising, considering she’s an artist and a Parsons textile design student based in New York. In fact, the new Second Daughter is even known for sharing her handmade knitwear pieces on Instagram.
We can’t wait to see what she pulls out of her closet next.
