Diana Spencer (AKA Old-School Princess Diana) Inspired This NYFW Collection

Call us Royally Obsessed, but we're definitely not alone.

From Duchess Meghan's "Markle Sparkle" selling out items she wears once to Hailey Bieber's Vogue Paris Princess Diana–inspired photo shoot, the royal-family fashion frenzy isn't going away anytime soon.

Add to the list: Tory Burch's spring 2020 collection, which premiered over the weekend at NYFW. The floral-filled collection, which is noted as "inspired by Diana Spencer" in the runway program's notes, has all the old-school People's Princess vibes: silk white handkerchief dresses, poufy '80s sleeves, pussy-bow blouses and vibrant colorways.

Of course, this isn't the paparazzi princess shots we're typically used to, like Diana in neon bike shorts and sweatshirts, or the high-waisted jeans and blazer combos she was so often photographed in.

Burch drew specifically from Diana's pre-princess days, when young upper-class Londoners dressed in floral skirts and rugby shirts, often referred to as "Sloane Rangers" or "Sloanies" for the swanky Chelsea neighborhood's Sloane Square.

Burch even riffed on Diana's famous Collingwood Pearl and Diamond drop earrings, with many of the models sporting giant lookalikes hanging from their lobes.

Most recently, Kate Middleton wore Diana's pair to baby Archie's christening in July.
