7 Brands Every Australian Gal Is Loving for Summer 2025

Petal & Pup has been a personal favorite of mine for years now and one of my go-to shops for all things easy, breezy and vacation ready. The huge selection of dresses, almost all of which come in under $140, is the real draw, with options for everyday wear, beach vacations and wedding receptions of any dress code. That said, don’t sleep on the matching sets either. The brand is particularly great for fun patterns that stand out from the crowd, with a size range of XS to XL and free shipping to the US on orders over $80.

If it’s trendy staples for everyday wear you’re after, there are few brands hotter than White Fox. Almost everything rings in under $100, with the exception of some jackets, faux-leather pieces and occasion dresses, and there’s a super-wide range of styles to choose from. I’m talking comfy sweat sets for errand running, mini dresses for date night, basic tops with a sexy flare and more wedding guest dresses than you could ever want. So while the brand does not come cheap, it is well worth the splurge for the quality and craftsmanship, not to mention the absolutely dreamy prints and patterns that will never go out of style. Zimmermann also has a selection of handbags, jewelry and shoes that have an irresistible vintage vibe that’s pretty much guaranteed to bring on all the compliments.  Just know, the brand has a unique sizing system (sizes 0P through 4), so be sure to double check the size conversion chart before ordering.

I’ve written about my love for Showpo before, but it’s a brand I find myself returning to time and time again whenever I’m in need of a dress refresh that won’t totally blow my shopping budget. It frequently collaborates with artists and musicians, like Travis Scott and Kevin Rosa aka Slumpy Kev. While most pieces cost under $450, some leather designs and special release items can go up to $800 or more. As for sizing, tops and jackets run from XS to XL, with some styles also available in a 2XL, while almost all the pants and jeans come in US sizes 23 to 34. Hot tip: Be sure to check out the men’s clothing too to score some very cool graphic tees and funky denim jackets.

Prices start at about $30 for tanks and tees, and go up to $200 for more intricate dresses and outerwear. And while there are definitely more casual pieces for everyday wear, like rugby shirts, faux-leather jackets and TK, the real standout items are the dresses.
