Jeanelle Teves, Chief Commercial Officer for Bugaboo and mom of two, is no slouch on the sartorial front, but she’s also the first to admit she intentionally keeps it easy. Her secret to fashion that’s functional and confidence-boosting? Consistency. “The first hour of my day is centered around my children and I try to really be present with them for that,” she says. “Blazers are my uniform, which helps me get dressed quickly so I’m not wasting time putting together different outfit combinations.” What does a typical day look like for her? Monday: A Calendar Full of Meetings
“Mondays are heavy on leadership meetings and reviewing business performance, so I dress polished, but comfortably. I love an oversize shirt, especially this one because it’s navy blue, but still feels very modern with the pinstripes. I also like that the sleeves are slightly ballooned, so when I’m presenting at the front of a conference room, my arms are taking up space, which helps me feel more confident.”

Tuesday: Shoes First
“I used to work in footwear, so I always think feet first when planning a look. I’m petite at 5’4,” so like to wear a bit of a heel, and because I live in New York City, I walk my kids to drop-off, dodging taxis and looking out for stuff on the street along the way. A pointed pump feels polished and classic and goes with pretty much any outfit.”

Wednesday: A Pop of Color
“On this day, I had a string of sales meetings, then dinner out right after work with my Work Lunch team. That’s something unique to New York: When I leave in the morning with my kids, I am gone for the day. I don’t have a car where I can toss an outfit change in the trunk. The pop of butter yellow felt polished enough for the C-suite, but something that could seamlessly go from drop-off to desk to dinner.”

Thursday: Denim for Adults
“On days when I’m meeting retail partners or spending time in market, I dress one level up, professional and put-together, but practical enough to be on the move. My principle with jeans is that I don’t wear ripped, I don’t wear faded or anything with holes. These almost look like trousers! I think dark washed jeans with a black heel and a black blazer is a great professional outfit that also works for drop-off because you’re not trying to overdo it.”
Friday: Camera-Ready and Pizza-Ready
“I often film career content Friday afternoons, so I choose something that works equally well at work and then later on camera. On this day, I knew that I was going to go from work to pick-up to the playground and then out for pizza, so I just really wanted to be light on my feet and comfortable. It’s still warm in New York, so this sleeveless blazer dress felt professional, but appropriate for a casual Friday at the office.”
