Usher's girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea, is his biggest supporter, and he wants the world to know it.

During his interview with People, he said, "I have an amazing partner, a support system. We have an amazing dynamic where I'm able to be passionate still about what I do and have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man dealing with children and dealing with the dynamic of how you communicate with them."

In 2023, when it was announced that the Grammy winner would headline the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Goicoechea celebrated the big news by reposting his announcement video on her Instagram page. She simply wrote, "Vegas 2024!!!!"

The happy couple has been together for quite a while (since 2019, to be exact). Still, we realized that there's plenty we don't know about their relationship. For instance, how did they meet? Do they have children? Keep reading for details about Usher's girlfriend and his dating history.

Per her Instagram bio, Jenn Goicoechea is currently the Senior Vice President of A&R at Epic Records. Previously, she worked as the director of the Rhythm & Soul (Urban) Department at ASCAP. According to her LinkedIn, she worked there for ten years before stepping down.

Following her departure, she wrote on Instagram, "I just wanted to Thank my ASCAP Family for everything…@mrsngm I will always be in debt to you. You gave a girl from Miami a shot. Thank you for not only being a great leader but a mentor."

In 2015, Rolling Out magazine also reported that Goicoechea got her start in the industry by shadowing her mother, Barbara, who worked as a production manager for Act Productions. As a result, Goicoechea landed a position with Ciara, then launched her own management company, Boogs’N’Effect Management.

She told the outlet, “Having strong organizational skills, event planning abilities, being able to identify burgeoning talent early on while staying current and involved on the music scene and keeping my ear to the pulse is what helped me get to where I am today.”

The pair have known each other since 2016, although it's unclear how they first crossed paths. In December of that year, Goicoechea posted a snap of herself whispering in Usher's ear and wrote, "Not sure what I'm saying or who I'm speaking to, but my nails look good."

In March 2018, she also shared a throwback pic with the singer and a few other guys in the music industry, writing, "Boys Club." However, the dating rumors didn't start until October 2019, when photographer Jennifer Johnson shared a pic of the two kissing backstage at a concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

On Instagram, she captioned the post, "'Cause she's such a good kisser! Caught a rare moment with @usher backstage the other day. I stay catching moments like these boys be catching feelings!"

Usher and Goicoechea currently share two children. On September 24, 2020, the pair welcomed their daughter, Sovereign, and Usher confirmed the news with a baby pic on Instagram. He wrote, "We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. 'Isn’t She lovely' by Stevie Wonder on repeat."

The couple welcomed their second child, Sire, on September 29, 2021. On Instagram, Usher shared a pic of his newborn and wrote:  "Hi my name is Sire Castrello Raymond…I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew. I was born Sept. 29 2021 at 6:42 p.m. weighing 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar…A.K.A Ra Ra. [Libra] Gang."

Goicoechea also shared an intimate snap of their child, along with the story behind her son's name. She wrote, "I recently lost my grandfather, Champ Castrello (he was 105). Champ was the strongest, bravest, family-oriented, funny and kindest man I know.. (other than my baby's father lol). I couldn’t ask for a better example of how a man should be! He was the definition… it was only right we keep his name alive."

While discussing their parenting styles, Usher told People, "She's better at it than me in many lights. I'm a man-man, so I'm like, 'This is what we're doing,' and I might be a little bit more disciplinary at times. If there's a slap [metaphorically] and a hug, I'm the slap and she's the hug. But that creates balance."

He added, "I'm very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner. She's my best friend, and I love her."
