This ‘Love Is Blind’ Spin-Off Series Has Replaced ‘Bridgerton’ as the #1 Show on Netflix

If you enjoyed cringe-watching Love Is Blind, then we highly recommend you check out this brand-new spin-off series.

Netflix just released the first season of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, which looks equally as bingeworthy as Love Is Blind. Not only is it created by the same people, but it’s also hosted by power duo Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

And clearly it is just as bingeworthy, because after only three days of being on the streaming site, The Ultimatum has jumped into the number-one spot on Netflix's list of most-watched shows (dethroning the previous top title—Bridgerton).

In the trailer above, Nick and Vanessa explain how The Ultimatum works. Unlike Love Is Blind (where single contestants date without seeing each other’s faces), the new show follows couples who are unsure about their current partners.

“You’re here because someone in your relationship has issued an ultimatum,” Vanessa says. “One partner is ready to get married, and the other isn’t sure.”

Nick chimes in, “At the end of the week, you will each choose a new partner.” Vanessa adds, “You’ll move in together for three weeks.”

Then, the contestants must make the ultimate decision. “You guys will have to choose,” Nick explains, “to marry the person you arrived with or to split forever.”

Based on the trailer, it seems that most of the relationships are in jeopardy. One girl says, “I definitely thought giving Jake the ultimatum would bring us together. It is doing the complete opposite.” Another adds, “Do I think that there’s a possibility that I could be happy with someone else? Yes.”

The first eight episodes of The Ultimatum are now available to stream on Netflix, with the finale and the reunion special set to be uploaded on April 13. We know what we'll be watching this weekend.
