If you’re looking for a compelling comedy that lives up to other star-studded shows (like Nobody Wants This), you’ve come to the right place.

Introducing Apple TV+’s newest comedy series, The Studio. The show puts a comedic spin on the entertainment industry, starring Seth Rogen as a studio executive named Matt Remick.

The trailer introduces viewers to Matt, who’s struggling to make record-breaking films in a world where movie options are everywhere. “I got into this because, you know, I love movies,” he says. “But now I have this fear that my job is to ruin them.”

He puts his heart and soul into every project, even if he must capitalize on the industry’s most desperate.

The official synopsis of The Studio reads, “As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt's been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”

The Studio features an all-star main cast, including Rogen (Knocked Up), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms), Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project) and Chase Sui Wonders (Bodies Bodies Bodies). The series also includes familiar guest stars like Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Keyla Monterroso Mejia (You’re Cordially Invited), Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling) and Dewayne Perkins (The Upshaws).

In addition to his starring role, Rogen also served as co-creator, writer, director and executive producer alongside Evan Goldberg (Superbad, This Is the End).

The first two episodes of The Studio will premiere on March 26 on Apple TV+. The rest of the installments will debut on a weekly basis every Wednesday.
