Netflix’s New #1 Movie Is a Must-Watch for Horror (& Vampire!) Fans

Horror fans are bound to want a bite of this brand-new Netflix movie: Night Teeth.

The vampire flick just premiered on the streaming service this week, and it’s already claimed the number one spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked ahead of The Forgotten Battle, Going in Style, Scary Movie 4, The Trip, Sharkdog’s Fintastic Halloween and My Little Pony: New Generation.)

Night Teeth imagines a world where vampires have peacefully co-existed with humans for centuries. The story follows a college student named Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.), who’s moonlighting as a freelance chauffeur.

When he’s hired by Blaire (Debby Ryan) and Zoe (Lucy Fry) for a night out on the town, it doesn’t take long for him to realize that his passengers are, in fact, vampires. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem. However, when he’s thrown into the middle of a human-vampire power struggle, he’s forced to choose a side.

In addition to Lendeborg Jr., Ryan and Fry, Night Teeth features a solid cast, including Alfie Allen (Victor), Sydney Sweeney (Eva), Raúl Castillo (Jay Perez), Alexander Ludwig (Rocko), Megan Fox (Grace), Bryan Batt (Gio) and Marlene Forte (Abuela). The movie was directed by Adam Randall (I See You), while Brent Dillon wrote the screenplay.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “A young driver picks up two mysterious women for a night of party hopping. But when his passengers reveal their true nature, he must fight to stay alive.”

Shout-out to Netflix for this timely release.
