Best News All Day: Netflix Just Renewed ‘Never Have I Ever’ for Season 3

If you're like us and you finished the latest season of Never Have I Ever already (and rewatched it a couple of times too), then this announcement from Netflix is reason to celebrate.

The Mindy Kaling-created series has officially been renewed for a third season. The news was shared on the show's Instagram account, where they said, “OMFG. WE'RE COMING BACK FOR AN ALL NEW SEASON Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!! SCREAMMMMMMMM.”

In the posted clip, snippets of the actors saying “Oh my god” throughout the show are stitched together to build up hype for the forthcoming season.

While we're still hopping around in excitement, it seems the series' stars and creators are just as thrilled. Mindy Kaling commented a series of heart-eye emojis, while star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan said, “WOOP WOOOOP.” Jaren Lewison (who plays Ben Gross) commented, “RUN DONT WALK,” while fellow star Ramona Young added, “Hoo hoo s3!”

While it is unclear what the storyline will follow in the next season, we already know that the love triangle between Devi, Ben and Paxton will continue. The end of season two saw Devi entering into an official relationship, but with some previous romantic ties still lingering in the air.

Meanwhile, we saw a new spark emerging between Devi's cousin, Kamala (Richa Moorjani), and her teacher, Mr. Kulkarni (Utkarsh Ambudkar), as well as a new romantic interest for her mother. So it seems like there will be plenty of tension to keep the drama and comedy rolling in season three.

Stars shared the video on their own accounts, like Moorjani, who said, “They just can’t get rid of us. See you soon @neverhaveiever #season3.” Poorna Jagannathan, who plays Devi's mom, shared an image of her squeezing the young actress in a hug and said, “I get to do another season of THIS!!!”

Meanwhile, Lewison shared a slideshow of behind-the-scenes photos from the show, along with the video announcement. He said, “Season 3!!!!!!!!!! OF NHIE!!!!! This third season is going to be LEGENDARY. Thank you for loving this show so much. We love you, and we can’t wait to bring you back to Sherman oaks soon!!! #rememberthefeeling.”

We can't wait for these episodes. In the meantime, we might just have to watch the first two seasons again...
