‘Never Have I Ever’ Is Officially Returning in July & We've Got the First Trailer

For those of us who fell in love with Never Have I Ever last year and have been anxiously awaiting the second season, it looks like we won't have to wait much longer.

The Mindy Kaling-created project will officially return to Netflix on July 15, starting off right where they left us (with that massive cliffhanger at the end of season one). In the new episodes, we will follow Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she struggles to choose between Ben (Jaren Lewison) and Paxton (Darren Barnet), which—based on the trailer that just got released—looks like it leads to hilarious results. Check it out below.

In the clip, we see Devi trying to figure out her love triangle, explaining, “This is my last chance for an American high school boyfriend. That's why I have to figure out my boy situation stat!” However, it looks like she won't figure things out quite as easily as we think, when she considers a more complex alternative and says, “Oh my god. I have two boyfriends.”

Netflix's official synopsis remains vague, but they write that in season two, “Devi continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.”

Along with Ramakrishnan, Barnet and Lewison, the entire main cast will return for season two, including Devi's two best friends, Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez), her cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) as well as her mom, played by Poorna Jagannathan. But, we'll be seeing a couple of new faces as well, as Tyler Alvarez, Utkarsh Ambudkar, P.J. Byrne, Megan Suri and rapper Common have all joined the cast.

July 15 can't come fast enough.
