Checking Netflix's top ten list of most-watched movies and shows is now baked into my daily routine, which explains why there are so many intense thrillers sitting on my queue. There's Havoc, iHostage, Exterritorial and, more recently, Last Bullet—an explosive thriller that reached the top ten in less than two days.
Directed by Guillaume Pierret, this marks the third (and final) installment of the French trilogy, Lost Bullet. But if you're unfamiliar with the storyline, the films revolve around Lino (Alban Lenoir), an ex-con and genius mechanic who engineers cars for crime. In the first film, he gets involved with corrupt cops who offer him a sweet deal, but things quickly go south when his mentor is killed. In the sequel, Lino hunts down the people who murdered his mentor. And now, in this final chapter, Lino is fresh out of prison and determined to seek justice as he pursues Areski (Nicolas Duvauchelle), a crooked cop.
Per the official synopsis, "a breathtaking chase ensues, marked by fragile alliances and intense confrontations." And by the looks of this intense trailer, I can assure you that Last Bullet will have you on the edge of your seat.
