Unlike Meghan Markle, we haven’t starred in a hit network legal drama (that would be Suits) or created a blog about all our current obsessions (R.I.P. The Tig). But does that make it any less likely we’ll end up with our own prince charming? We think not. Luckily, there are plenty of royal fish in the sea. Here, seven of the hottest bachelors with ties to the British monarchy, for all of us who are still holding on to the dream of becoming a real-life princess.

Age: 22 

Occupation: Computer science and economics major at Brown University

Royal family ties: Princess Alexandra's grandson; Queen Elizabeth's cousin twice removed

What sets him apart: While his Instagram is private (ugh!), his sister Flora’s is not. And she sometimes posts pics of her and her cute brother. Also, his grandmother is Princess Alexandra (the daughter of Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark) and those Greek genes are putting in the werk (we mean, those eyebrows!).

Occupation: Student at the University of Edinburgh

What sets him apart: Arthur is the queen’s great-nephew and was a former Page of Honour (a ceremonial position that’s usually bestowed on the teenage male members of the British gentry and nobility). He also has over 130K Instagram followers, perhaps because he loves posting shirtless pics on his Instagram. Sign. Us. Up.

Age: 22 

Occupation: Pottery maker and artist “currently working in clay to create functional and sculptural wood fired ceramics,” according to his website

Royal family ties: Grandson of Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong-Jones; Queen Elizabeth's great-nephew; son of Lady Sarah Chatto

What sets him apart: Sam is the opposite of his brother, Arthur (see above). He’s an artist and his preferred medium is clay. By the way, he tends to craft his masterpieces from his home studio in West Sussex. Sam’s also a certified yoga teacher; he spent 200 hours completing a rigorous training course in India (and became the first royal to ever do so!). Can we namaste at the royal palace with you, Sam?

Occupation: Businessman and entrepreneur (started the greeting card company Boomf) 

Royal family ties: Kate Middleton's younger brother 

What sets him apart: He has about five dogs (TBH, we’ve lost count), and posts about them all the time on his glorious social media feed. And while he recently went Instagram official with his girlfriend, Alizee Thevenet, we’re still in puppy love…at least until we see a ring.

Age: 30

Occupation: Fashion designer (co-founder of fashion label FIDIR), second in line to the Dukedom of Kent 

Royal family ties: King George IV's great-great-nephew; George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews’s son; Princess Diana's godson; distant cousin of Queen Elizabeth

What sets him apart: Lord Edward is a former financial analyst and now designs clothing and accessories “inspired by the Scottish Highlands.” His sister, Lady Amelia Windsor, is one of our fave royal style icons. Those are some seriously fashionable genetics.
