9 Reasons Kate Middleton's Brother James Needs to Be Your Next Instagram Follow

Don’t get us wrong: @SussexRoyal and @KensingtonRoyal are two of our favorite follows. But, unfortunately for us, we may never get a real, uncensored look into the lives of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle on IG. Enter: 32-year-old James Middleton. Kate and Pippa’s younger brother offers us the most delightful social media glimpse into his royally tangential life. Also, like us, he just really loves dogs. Here, nine reasons why he should be your next "royal" follow on Insta.

We present: Your new favorite animal account. Middleton, who owns five dogs (named Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna and Mabel), even wished himself and all other dog dads a happy Father’s Day this year.

“Sadly my Dog Bike got stolen,” Middleton recently revealed in a post from June 20, referring to the cart he used to travel around with his five fur babies. “Ella & Co are devastated - taking the dogs out on the bike brings me so much joy and to all those we meet on the way.”

He asked his followers to “spread the word” and said that if the photo reached 15,000 likes he would make a donation to the Battersea Dog & Cat Home “in support of their wonderful work [and] whose [sic] residents have lost more than just a bike!”

He’s a huge animal lover, and shares the most adorable pics of all the creatures he encounters. Like these chicks, this bird, this duck, this ram, this chicken, this fish...you get the idea.  

Like when he posted about drinking pink champagne after Princess Charlotte’s birth. He captioned the post, from May 2, 2015 (the day Princess Charlotte was born): “A little pink champagne to celebrate!” Cheers to you, fun Uncle (funcle?) James. Or when he shared a fancy palace mirror selfie while wearing a tux. Behind-the-scenes at Trooping the Colour 2017? We'll take it.

First off, let's break down this royal (and royal-tangential) family tree for those in the back: Pippa Middleton, sister to duchess Kate Middleton, is married to James Matthews. James has a brother, Spencer Matthews, who has gotten to know the Middleton family by way of Pippa. And, from this insider photo, it seems he and James Middleton are wedding-going besties.

He just went Insta-official with his girlfriend of a year, French financier Alizee Thevenet. And they made it wedding-date official in May when they showed up at Lady Gabriella Windsor’s nuptials together.

We know, we know. We just told you he’s off the market. But, hey, a gal can dream…
