Yesss! A "Golden Girls" Restaurant Is Opening in NYC

And Betty White's coming to celebrate

Quick, book a trip to New York City this September! A Golden Girls-themed restaurant is opening in Washington Heights--and yep, they’ll be serving cheesecake. And wine.

The new café is the brainchild of Michael J. LaRue, a close friend of late GG star Rue McClanahan (a.k.a. Blanche). DNAInfo reports that LaRue will pay tribute to our four favorite besties by displaying McClanahan’s memorabilia and other special items in the restaurant.

In addition to wine and cheesecake (but seriously, are there any other foods?) the menu will include soups, wraps and baked treats. But the main attraction: The café will also feature live music, played on McClanahan’s piano. “Thank You for Being a Friend” sing-alongs? We’re so there.
