It’s been eight years since Netflix blessed Gilmore Girls fans with a follow-up series, A Year in the Life, which ended on a major cliffhanger. Although the streaming service hasn’t renewed it for another season (at least not yet), fans are still seeing Stars Hollow everywhere they look—even in Walmart commercials.

This month, Walmart released a brand-new ad starring the cast of Gilmore Girls. It didn’t take long for fans to notice a small detail that seemingly references the ending of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. You know, when Rory (Alexis Bledel) tells Lorelai (Lauren Graham) that she’s pregnant.

The commercial begins with Kirk (Sean Gunn) delivering a package to Luke (Scott Patterson) at the diner. In the background, there’s a children’s craft hanging on the wall, featuring a reindeer and holiday wreath.

Once fans spotted the artwork, they immediately drew conclusions about the artist. “Is that Rory’s kid’s art in the background?!” one person wrote (as Bustle points out). Another person added, “The only way Luke would decorate the diner is if his grandkid did the art. He would absolutely dote on that child.”

Graham recently addressed the show’s future during an interview with E! News. When asked if her character is still with Luke, the actress gave a confident answer that will please fans.

“They’re definitely still together,” she said. “I don't know what sort of grandchildren situation there might be, but I think we’re living happily in town.”

Sounds like a return to Stars Hollow is long overdue.
