I can always count on Netflix for a new thriller that will make me want to grab a bag of popcorn, and folks, I think I’ve found my new #weekendwatch. Starring Eric Bana, Sam Neil and Rosemarie DeWitt, Untamed is the newest limited series on the platform that looks to be an edge-of-your-seat thriller. It centers around a federal agent named Kyle Turner, who is tasked with investigating a woman’s death in Yosemite National Park, where he quickly learns “nature obeys no rules but its own.” As if investigating a mysterious death isn’t enough, Turner is also faced with a family tragedy that continues to haunt him, and consistently has to deal with the failing personal relationships within his own life. Turner, however, is great at his job, and his skills are necessary to unravel the sinister activities happening in Yosemite.

If you’re somebody captivated by plot twists, then you'll be happy to know there are several along the way, making Untamed an unpredictable ride. And while Rotten Tomatoes hasn’t yet determined a rating for the show, the reviews submitted so far confirm you won’t be disappointed.
“I’ll always appreciate a messy entry in this genre, which isn’t afraid to question the point of learning the truth when the damage done by lies is irreparable, rather than a generic one with nothing relevant to say,” writes one reviewer, with another adding, “A thriller, crime, and mystery hybrid with a solid cast and well-written characters. In other words, yes, I binge-watched this series and am ready to recommend you do the same.”
Say no more, I will definitely be giving Untamed a watch this weekend.
