‘Bridgerton’ Stars Reveal Season 2 Deets and Take Fans Inside the Town’s Iconic Dress Shop in BTS Video

Season one of Bridgerton introduced viewers to the fabulous French boutique, the Modiste. The popular establishment is frequented by the elite of the town, with Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) being an honorable member. And now, fans get a chance to learn more about the infamous dress shop.

In a new BTS video, Bridgerton stars Nicola Coughlan and Claudia Jessie take fans on a tour of the iconic sets from season two. The new season is set to premiere this Friday, March 25, on Netflix.

While dressed in their characters’ attire, both actresses walked through the shop and revealed a fun fact about the set. “This is another recreated shop from Bath,” Jessie said. “Halfway through season one, we lost the shop and they rebuilt it.”

Genevieve Delacroix, who owns the boutique, is the most sought out fashion designer by the town’s elite. Aside from being a talented seamstress, she was close friends with Anthony Bridgerton’s former love interest, Siena Rosso.

Without giving too much away, Coughlan shared that Delacroix will play a “huge” role in the second season. Even though she played a small role in season one, Jessie shared that people will be quite “shocked” by Delacroix in the new season.

As they continued the tour, Coughlan shared another important fact about the Modiste. There is an assortment of pottery throughout the shop.

The 35-year-old actress revealed that the fine china is made from her mother’s favorite Irish company, Belleek Pottery. “She absolutely loves it,” she said. “It was the best day of her life when I sent pictures.” Then, she proceeded to take a piece out of the shop (for her mom of course).

We’re already starting the countdown.
