Netflix Releases First-Look Photo of a Young Lady Danbury in ‘Bridgerton’ Prequel Series

Dearest reader, Netflix has unveiled another exclusive teaser image from the highly anticipated Bridgerton spinoff, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, and it features a glimpse of the younger version of Lady Danbury.

On the very first day of the new year, the streaming service debuted a first-look photo all across social media. Allow us to introduce you to the one and only Lady Danbury, who will be played by newcomer Arsema Thomas in the spinoff.

In the photo shared on the official Bridgerton Instagram page, the character can be seen wearing a stunning ball gown with a diamond-encrusted necklace and a bejeweled headpiece.

“This is the year you find friends who fix your crown. Introducing @arsemathomas as Young Lady Danbury in #QueenCharlotte: A Bridgerton Story,” the caption read. “Coming to @netflix in 2023.”

Netflix previously gave fans another surprise sneak peek during the 2022 TUDUM event, where the streaming platform shared a never-before-seen picture of the actress who will take on the role of the younger Queen Charlotte: India Amarteifio.

The prequel series will delve into the life of the queen and give a glimpse into her origin story. And that’s not all—the narrative will also focus on her marriage to King George and how the Ton was created.

We’ve known about the prequel series for quite some time now. Back in May 2021, the platform shared the news on Twitter, writing, “All Hail The Queen! Thrilled to announce we’re expanding the Bridgerton universe with a limited series that will tell Queen Charlotte’s origin story—the series will also feature young Violet Bridgerton and young Lady Danbury.”

Keep the sneak peek photos coming, Netflix.
