Reese Witherspoon Has Written Her Own Thriller—And It’s Already a Best-Seller

Mark your calendars book lovers, because Reese Witherspoon is dropping a twisty new thriller novel this October—complete with a female protagonist you'll "love rooting for."

The Legally Blonde actress and her co-author, Harlan Coben, took to Instagram in a joint post to announce their upcoming book, Gone Before Goodbye, which is now available for pre-order. Witherspoon wrote, "Big news! I’m excited to finally share the title and cover of the brand-new thriller I’m writing with the legendary @harlancoben: Gone Before Goodbye. It’s got twists, secrets, suspense, and a main female character you’re going to love rooting for. Coming to your bookshelf this October, but available to pre-order now wherever books are sold."

In the video clip, Witherspoon and Coben team up to reveal the title and cover of their new novel. After showing a copy of the book, the actress says, "It has everything. A really interesting female character at the center, international adventures, and so many twists and turns."

The duo then encouraged fans to pre-order their copies—and sure enough, the book received so many pre-orders that it currently sits in the top spot of Amazon's list of Best Selling Conspiracy Thrillers.
