Can anything compare to the Too Faced “Better Than Sex” Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara ($28)? Well, that's exactly what PureWow creator Matthew Boyd and his guest, Ariana, were trying to figure out in the latest episode of What the Dupe. In the installment, the duo compared the famous Too Faced product with a cheaper alternative: L'Oréal's Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara ($13).

Anyone who wears mascara has probably heard of Too Faced, as Matthew notes in the beginning of the clip. “This mascara really changed the game in terms of product names. The marketing is just genius,” he says. “The Better Than Sex mascara, specifically the black one, is the #1 mascara in America right now.”

However, the Too Faced product retails for nearly $30. So, Matthew is determined to find out if L'Oréal’s mascara is comparable.

This is a special episode, because Matthew recruits the first-ever guest for What the Dupe. Ariana tries both of the products to see which one she likes best. Watch the video above to hear her thoughts.
