Victoria Pedretti, who plays Love in season two of Netflix’s You, just ditched her signature medium-brown chestnut-colored locks for something a little brighter.
The 24-year-old You star recently stopped by Yahoo’s Build Series and debuted a brand-new honey blonde ’do that we totally love (sorry, had to).
Pedretti’s new look comes with a touch of subtle roots and the same pin-straight style she rocked in both You and as Nell Crain in Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House. Judging from the photo above, it seems she may have lightened her brows as well, although that could just be the work of a lighter brow pencil. All we can say is she looks even more like Hilary Duff now.
The actress has yet to confirm whether her new hair color is for an upcoming role or just for fun. (Hey, new year, new you.) Her celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast, whose clients also include Karlie Kloss, Emma Roberts and Constance Wu, has shared several snaps on Instagram of Pedretti rocking her new blonde locks at press events. So, her reason for taking the plunge could really go either way.
Given the popularity of this past season of You and the anticipation building for the upcoming anthology season of The Haunting of Hill House, we’re sure we’ll be seeing lots more of Pedretti and her blonde tresses.
The question remains: Will she go back to her natural brown locks or decide blondes have more fun? TBD.
