Meet the Next Big Nail Art Trend (Courtesy of Rihanna)

There are many reasons to thank Rihanna. For starters, she provided the soundtrack for most of our twenties and pushed the beauty industry to become more inclusive. She brought us purple highlighter and now, we can thank her for inspiring our next manicure: jade marble nails.

As London-based manicurist Jenny Longworth revealed on her Instagram, this updated take on the popular marbled mani is poised to become this summer's biggest nail art trend, and we (along with the hundreds of fanatic commenters on her page) are here. For. It.

To create the marbled effect, Longworth hand-painted shades of ivory, teal and seafoam green on RiRi's tips and blended them together (with we're guessing a striping brush).

Though a jade manicure doesn't have the healing properties of the stone it resembles, you can't deny that it's at least visually calming to look at—which is reason enough for us to try it. Now the question remains: Do we need a matching jade clutch? Y or N?
