Fact: Gwyneth Paltrow takes very good care of herself. She has the type of "lit-from-within" glow that actually comes from, well, within. (Seriously, we sat down with her recently and had to stop ourselves from staring too much.) And while we might not have the time (or bankroll) to adopt her entire lifestyle, her makeup routine is surprisingly simple. Here, three easy steps you can do on even the most harried mornings.
1. Even out any blotchiness on your face. With a bit of illuminating primer and liquid foundation. GP uses her fingers or a BeautyBlender makeup sponge (that her makeup guru daughter, Apple, gave to her) for a smooth application.
2. Tap on a cream blush. Skip powders, which tend to fall flat (and can age you). Creamy formulas add a healthy sheen to your skin and can even double as a lip color.
3. Finish with some mascara. She's obsessed with Juice Beauty's Phyto-Pigments Mascara (she's their creative director of makeup) and recommends you let it dry between coats to prevent clumping. And that's it. No liner (it's too finicky, she says) but maybe a swipe of gloss if you're going someplace special.
