I knew it was only a matter of time before Dyson—the brand behind innovative hair tools like the Airwrap and Supersonic—entered the dryer brush game. Still, I wasn’t expecting it to arrive this quickly. I’m not complaining, though, especially since the new Dyson Airsmooth is currently available for just $250, making it one of the brand’s most affordable hair stylers. (No wonder it's already sold out at Nordstrom and Sephora.)

Even if you've already tried styling brushes—like the Revlon One-Step or Drybar Double Shot—the Dyson Airsmooth is basically guaranteed to blow you away. Not only does it detangle, dry and volumize your strands all at the same time, but as with all of Dyson's hair tools, it's designed to reduce breakage and minimize frizz to maintain hair health. (Thank the controlled airflow and dual PivotFlex and anti-snag bristles that won't tear at your locks.)

The brand new device features three airflow settings and four heat modes, so you can tackle thick or fine hair and achieve smooth results in no time. Unlike many other dryer brushes on the market, it also boasts a teardrop design that lets you reach the roots for extra sleekness. I know it almost sounds too good to be true, but there’s a reason it’s already racked up a ton of views on TikTok.

Weighing just under 1.5 pounds, it won’t take up much space in your luggage, especially since the motor is in the handle (genius!).
